Scientists have recently determined that is takes approximately 400 repetitions to create a new synapse in the brain- unless it is done with play, in which case it takes between 10-20 repetitions! ~Dr. Karyn Purvis
Multidisciplinary Approach

Behaviour intervention can look different for everyone. No individual is the same and therefore the way we intervene must be tailored to the learner's way of learning. This can include Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) style of Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Incidental Teaching (IT), play therapy, sensory social routines, daily living skills, occupational therapy, physio therapy and speech therapy. Individual therapy plans should be tailored to a client's needs and preferences that best support them and their family.

Learning All Together
We want to create connections and supports for clients and their families. Having a community of people who understand and walk along side while navigating this chapter in life is crucial. We aim to offer an inclusive environment for both clients and their families. Our goal is to be able to help families learn along side their child and provide future workshops around the topics of ABC's, transitioning to school and more.
